Terms of Sale — MinervaXR Hub: Cast & Control headset add-on
Last updated: November 5, 2026
These terms cover only the headset add-on for MinervaXR Hub: Cast & Control (extra headset seats). Other MinervaXR products are sold separately, on their own terms.
Refunds are covered by the Refund Policy.
1. Who sells to you
Purchases made through Paddle are sold by the applicable Paddle entity identified in your checkout or receipt. Paddle acts as Merchant of Record and handles payment, invoicing and applicable sales taxes. MINERVA XR LTD (company number 516695384, Israel; “MinervaXR”, “we”) provides the software and the related service. Paddle’s Buyer Terms apply to the transaction, alongside these terms.
We sell to businesses and to individuals, in the countries where Paddle sells.
2. What you are buying
- A headset seat adds one headset to your MinervaXR account in Cast & Control: one more headset that the account can have paired, and one more headset that can cast at the same time.
- Seats belong to the account that bought them. They are not user licences and are not tied to one device: you can remove a paired headset (Settings → Account → Your headsets → Remove) and pair another in its place.
- Included: pairing headsets to your account, casting from them to the Hub and controlling them from the Hub, up to your number of seats. Not included: headset hardware, and other MinervaXR products (for example Studio, scenario creation, AI features, storage, professional content or organisation services), which are sold separately.
- Free allowance. A free MinervaXR account can pair 4 headsets and cast from 2 at the same time; the Hub shows your current numbers.
- Price. The price per seat is shown at checkout before you pay (currently USD $7.00 per seat per month, including any applicable sales tax or VAT).
- Seats are a monthly subscription, billed in advance, that renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. Your billing period starts on the day of your first purchase.
- Seats are bought and managed in the MinervaXR Hub on a computer (web or desktop), not in the Quest app. The headset app sells nothing.
3. Adding and removing seats
- Adding a seat takes effect as soon as Paddle confirms the payment. You pay a prorated amount for the rest of the current billing period; from the next renewal, the full price per seat applies. A failed payment adds nothing.
- Removing a seat takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep the paid capacity until then. No credit is given for the unused part of that period.
- Mandatory legal rights and the Refund Policy apply on top of these rules.
4. Cancelling
- You can cancel at any time: in the Hub (Settings → Account → Headset seats → Manage or cancel, which opens Paddle’s customer portal), through the link in your Paddle receipt, or by writing to contact@minervaxr.com if you cannot sign in.
- Unless an earlier termination or refund is required by applicable law or by the Refund Policy, a cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep the paid capacity until that date. The Hub shows the end date.
- When paid capacity ends, your account returns to the free allowance: your paired headsets stay paired and their records are kept; from then on only the free number of headsets can cast at the same time, and you cannot pair a new headset above the free number; a cast already running is not interrupted. To choose which headsets you keep, remove the others in Settings → Account → Your headsets.
- Deleting your account is separate from cancelling. If you delete your MinervaXR account while a seat subscription is active, we ask Paddle to cancel the subscription so that it does not renew; if that request fails, we cancel it by hand. Deleting your account does not by itself give a refund. To be sure, cancel first.
5. Failed payments
- If a renewal payment fails, Paddle retries it. Your seats stay active for 14 days after the end of the last paid billing period. If the payment is recovered, the seats continue. If not, the extra seats end and your account returns to the free allowance; Paddle then cancels the subscription.
- A first purchase whose payment fails gives no paid capacity.
6. Changes to prices or these terms
We may change subscription prices for future billing periods. For existing subscriptions, we will tell you by email and in the Hub at least 30 days before an increase takes effect, or give a longer notice where the law or your agreement requires it. An increase never affects a period you have already paid for. You may cancel before the renewal at which it applies. Where your consent is legally required, the increase will not be charged without it. A material change to these terms follows the same notice; it does not take away rights you already have under a purchase.
7. Refunds
Refunds are covered by the separate Refund Policy.
